We had a phenomenal time last night attending two exciting exhibition openings at the 21c Museum Hotel in St. Louis. The evening celebrated the work of two incredible artists: Heather Bennett, who showcased four stunning photographs, and Yvonne Osei, whose striking 2018 video work, EXTENSIONS, is featured in the group exhibition Dress Up, Speak Up: Regalia and Resistance.
A major highlight of the night was an insightful panel discussion featuring artists Damon Davis, Yowshien Kuo, and Yvonne Osei. The trio explored their creative processes and the thematic connections their work shares with the exhibition.
