I want to make sure you know about this critical initiative

Friends and Colleagues,

I want to make sure you know about an important initiative. The Regional Arts Commission (RAC) has joined with the St. Louis Community Foundation (STLCF) to help local working artists, both visual and performing, who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallout. The RAC Artist Relief Fund was started with a $100,000 contribution from RAC.

RAC is doing everything possible to raise additional funds from the community to meet this need and I have agreed to help. To date, in the first round, RAC awarded funds to 120 applicants.

We need at least an additional $40,000 or more to help meet the needs of our artists. The grant period will end on April 30th or until the funds run out.

I also hope that you can help us spread the word to anyone who wants to donate. This collaboration between RAC and The St. Louis Community Foundation will ensure donors’ funds will go directly to working artists in need. Please join me in making a personal contribution to the RAC Artist Relief Fund
