New video work by Van McElwee at the St. Louis Art Museum

HEARding Cats Collective is excited to present the world premiere of Original Self, a new video work by St. Louisan Van McElwee at the St. Louis Art Museum, as part of the SLAM Underground series. McElwee’s work will be accompanied by live music from three separate musical ensembles: a synthesizer duo with Kevin Harris and Doc Mabuse; a percussion trio featuring Rich O’Donnell, Alan Shilling, and Glen “Papa” Wright; and a vocal ensemble led by Debby Lennon.
