Gallery artist, Stan Strembicki is featured in St. Louis Magazine’s recent article “St. Louis photographer’s work to appear in new Netflix documentary on Katrina” by Mike Miller on his 8 images from his “Memory Loss” portfolio included in the upcoming NETFLIX documentary “Katrina: Come Hell and High Water.” (Strembicki upcoming exhibition “Art History Revisited” opens September 13 at Bruno David Gallery.) The Netflix documentary series, focuses on the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and its impact on New Orleans. The series, executive produced by Spike Lee, premieres on Netflix on August 27th. It explores the storm’s devastating consequences, including the systemic government neglect that left the city vulnerable, and the long-term effects on the community.
