Gallery artist Carlos Salazar-Lermont presented his video “Esperando A Dios (EAD) v.01” in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a part of the traveling video exhibition “Sitios de Maniobras y Otras Brechas” (Site of Maneuvers and other Gaps). The screening, curated by Venezuelan artist Macjob Parabavis, took place at Colectivo Periferia, and was initially shown at Rooftop, Cochabamba, Bolivia. It compiles the work of intergenerational Venezuelan video artists who “formulate, design, and carry out, whether empirically or not, various types of provisional MANEUVERS to know how to occupy, inhabit, or move” within our realities. The exhibition will travel to Venezuela soon, and other places in the Americas and Europe.
