PXSTL art is going up!
Friday, May 9; 7 – 9 pm
The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University invite you to celebrate the opening of PXSTL: *Lots*, a temporary structure designed by Freecell Architecture. PXSTL activates a previously vacant lot across the street from the Pulitzer in the heart of Grand Center, May 9 – October 5, with this installation and a number of public programs by individuals, groups, and organizations in the St. Louis community. The opening celebration includes a performance by Grand Center Arts Academy students, as well as a conversation with PXSTL program grant recipients. Throughout the evening, a free shuttle will run between the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum for an opening, and Grand Center for the opening of PXSTL and an opening at the Contemporary Art Museum. Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes from 6:30-9 pm.
