First Fridays in Grand Center

Please note traffic issue for First Fridays in Grand Center:

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Highway 40 in both directions this weekend just east of Kingshighway. Crews will be tearing down the Tower Grove Avenue and Boyle Avenue bridges over Highway 40 (Interstate 64). 

MoDOT and its contractor will close the highway between Forest Park Avenue and Kingshighway beginning at 8 p.m. Friday. The highway and ramps are expected to reopen by 3 a.m. Monday.

Westbound traffic will be detoured around the closure using Forest Park Avenue and Kingshighway back to the highway. Eastbound traffic heading toward downtown will be diverted to Interstate 44 using Hampton Avenue.
